What is a boot jack (aka boot kicker)?

A boot jack is a tool designed to help individuals remove their boots easily. It typically consists of a U-shaped frame with a flat base and two upright arms. The user places one foot on the base, places the heel of the boot between the arms, and uses the other foot to step on the back of the boot, allowing the heel to slide out easily. Boot jacks are useful for preventing the need to bend over and struggle to remove boots, especially if they are tight-fitting.

Not just for boots!

While called a "boot" jack, it is definitely not just for boots.  It can be used to pull off most any shoes, boots, cleats.  Maybe not heels though.  I haven't tried, and my wife would look at me funny if I did!
